ARTIST STATEMENT
The Stories I Want to Tell
Artists are storytellers and visual conversationalists often lost in a din of noise, trying to fit a word in edgewise. I am no exception...
I see the art exhibition as a public reading, a select audience being read one or more chapters from a story written but not yet finished. However these conversations vary from artist to artist. Some artists are consistent and focused, spending a lifetime reworking the words to a singular story in search of the perfect combination. Others have fractured personalities and elect to write in different genres under pseudonyms. I, too, find myself trying to thoughtfully articulate both the profound and the trivial moments of my life but with the playful nature of a boy and the work ethic of a man.
I offer you some stories inspired by adventures and passing thoughts that I wouldn’t let pass. Consider this exhibition a wrinkle in a story wholly made up of wrinkles.

Thank you to my brother Adam for his beautiful rendering on "Thin House" and to
